Founded on a Childhood Dream
Hi, I'm Kaylee! I'm so happy you're here!
I'm a pediatric occupational therapist with 8 years of clinical experience (and if you count all the years I spent shadowing before OT school, it's been even longer!). I actually knew I wanted to become a pediatric OT back in 8th grade, and from that moment on, I spent every opportunity I could learning from incredible therapists. You could say this has been my dream for a very long time.
When I'm not teaching classes or talking all things child development, you'll usually find me chasing after my three little girls alongside my husband, who's an active-duty Army officer. Our home is full of laughter, imagination, dance parties, and just enough chaos to keep life interesting!
Before becoming an occupational therapist, I taught neuroscience and spent years as a competitive gymnast and all-star cheerleader. Looking back, it's no surprise that I fell in love with helping children learn through movement, play, and meaningful experiences.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of helping hundreds of children and families. My passion areas include picky eating, sensory processing and modulation, handwriting, executive functioning, and child development, but my greatest passion has always been empowering the people who know their children best—their parents.
That's exactly why I created From Crawling to Calling.
My heart is to help families feel confident, connected, and supported as they navigate childhood. I want to bridge the gap between therapy and everyday life by giving parents practical, evidence-based strategies they can actually use at home. I believe every milestone matters, every child develops in their own unique way, and every family deserves a village that encourages them instead of making them feel like they're doing it wrong.
Whether we're reading stories, getting messy with sensory play, learning about picky eating, or celebrating those exciting developmental milestones, my hope is that you'll leave every class feeling empowered, encouraged, and maybe even with a new mom friend or two.
Because childhood was never meant to be navigated alone—and around here, every step has a purpose. 💛

Our Philosophy
01
Purposeful Play
To a child, it's play. To us, it's learning! Every activity is thoughtfully designed to build meaningful developmental skills while keeping learning joyful, engaging, and fun.
02
Parent Empowerment
You know your child better than anyone else. My goal is to equip you with practical, evidence-based strategies so you can feel confident supporting your child's growth long after class is over.
03
Connection
Children thrive through connection. By fostering strong parent-child relationships and creating opportunities for meaningful interactions, we help build the foundation for lifelong learning, confidence, and emotional well-being.
04
Village
Parenting was never meant to be done alone. My hope is that every class becomes a place where families feel supported, encouraged, and connected to a community that celebrates every step of the journey.
